Gurney’s Offers Free Oil Changes To Health Care Professionals & First Responders

COVID-19 cases continue to rise in New Hampshire and our health care workers have been working tirelessly to keep everyone safe and healthy. As a way to show our appreciation, we’re offering free oil changes and vehicle health checks in partnership with Sanel NAPA to first responders and any health care professional who works at a hospital or doctor’s office, now through the end of April. We know health care workers and first responders are under a great amount of stress at this time and want to do what we can to make things easier. We also believe that helping each other during these times is essential.

Free oil change for health care professionals

Like many businesses, we’ve had to make some adjustments during this time. We have shortened our business hours (we’re now open 7:30 am to 4 pm) and have implemented a variety of safety and health precautions for our customers and team. All technicians use a new pair of gloves each time they get into a vehicle. Once the vehicle has been serviced, our technicians wipe down every area they’ve touched on it, including the key.

We’ve made other changes as well to help reduce in-person contact. We’ve removed many chairs in our waiting area and have spaced them far apart, but we’re encouraging everyone to avoid waiting as much as possible. We now have a “drop off and go” service. When you come by for an appointment, you can leave the keys in the car and just let us know that it’s here. You can do this without even needing to step inside the building. We’ll go out and bring your car in, then handle all paperwork over the phone. You can still bring your key inside, but please maintain distance from the front counter.

We’re also offering an early bird and after-hours drop off as well as a pick-up and delivery service, for those who are unable to come to the shop. We’ll pick up your vehicle, perform the needed services, and stay in contact with you throughout the whole process. Once your vehicle is finished, we’ll bring it back to your home.
