Rust Repair in Nashua

Rust Repair in Nashua

Are you searching for rust repair in Nashua? Vehicles in New Hampshire are exposed to a variety of things that can cause rust: salt air, salt on the roads, and other ice-melting products that keep the roads less slick in the winter. Exposure to the elements over time is also a large factor—on a long enough timeline, nearly all cars will experience rust at some point!

Why Car Rust Repair is Important

Not only is rust unsightly, but it can cause structural damage, which often starts at the lower six inches on the inside of a panel. This is the area that takes the brunt of splashes from the tires, so it’s not usually visible until the damage has gotten more extensive. Seam rust is also very common. This happens when salty water from the winter roadways gets splashed up and seeps into the cracks and crevices of the seams. Structural damage can compromise your car’s safety, so it’s important to schedule rust repair in Nashua as soon as you notice rust developing.

I took my new to me Spinter there for a NH safety inspection. They inspected it without it needing work to pass. When I inquired about observations and first impression assessment, I was told that it looked like the vehicle had not been frequently driven, and that there was some surface rust on the underside. These observations were spot on and were outside of the scope of a state inspection. The technician that handled my inspection was paying attention to more than just his/her task. That has value, and I appreciate it. Nicely done.

I have trusted my vehicle maintenance to dealership service for years, but I recently went to Gurney’s Automotive in Milford, NH to repair a flat tire from my truck. The owner slid the tire repair into his already full schedule because I had already took it off the truck and put a spare on. When repaired, Bill asked me to bring the truck by, and his mechanic swapped the tire back onto the truck and put the spare back in its storage, no extra charge. So when it came time to do an annual vehicle inspection, oil change, tire replacement and general service for my second car, I chose to try Gurney’s again and Bill did not disappoint me. I came back to a vehicle done in half the time expected time, all work done thoroughly and correctly; and within all quoted amount, even though two TPMS sensors and 3 light bulbs (which were not quoted) required replacement. The car was even washed and looked good. I was absolutely impressed with the results, and will not hesitate to have Gurney’s Automotive to do more of the service work required. Thanks to Bill, Danielle and the rest of the team at Gurney’s.
