Mark has been at Gurney’s for 37 years and counting.

But really, who’s counting?

At this point, Mark has seen a lot change in the automotive world. An ASE Master Technician for more than 25 years, he’s continued learning through ACDelco, NAPA, Dale Carnegie, and countless other trainings.

Does he always love change?

No.

Will he learn the new technology anyway because that’s what good technicians and leaders do?

Absolutely.

That combination of experience, honesty, and steady leadership has made Mark a huge part of Gurney’s history.

Away from work, he enjoys golfing with friends and his boys, snowmobiling through New England winters, and working in the yard with his wife.

But these days, Mark’s toughest competition for favorite activity is his grandson.

Playing trucks in the sandbox, reading books, riding the ATV—whatever they’re doing, Grandpa is pretty happy about it.

After nearly four decades here, Mark doesn’t just work at Gurney’s. He’s woven into the place.
