Dave has more than 40 years of automotive experience, an L1 ASE Master Technician certification, extensive factory training, and one additional qualification you won’t find framed on the wall:

Dave joined Gurney’s in 2011 after building a career around a craftsman’s approach to automotive repair: learn constantly, take pride in your work, and do it correctly the first time.

That philosophy started early. One of Dave’s first jobs was at a small family-owned dealership that genuinely cared about employees, customers, and its community. The experience stuck with him and is a big part of why Gurney’s felt like the right fit years later.

Outside work, Dave enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his wife, four children, and three grandchildren.

Two of those grandchildren are now driving.

Dave’s reaction?

He’s gained “two more vehicles to fix.”

Grandpa life has benefits. It also apparently comes with an expanding maintenance schedule.
