In The Community

At Gurney’s Automotive Repair, our dedication to integrity does not stop after the business transaction is done.

We are deeply invested in our community and reach out to several organizations throughout the year.

We strongly believe that people help people… and we believe that starts in your own community. Through this belief, we have experienced the joy of watching Nashua prosper. Below are some local companies especially important to us:

Nashua Center — The Nashua Center was founded in 1974 by a small group of concerned parents of children with severe/multiple disabilities in need of services. We are proud to support and take part in Taste of the Town, an annual fund-raising event.

Nashua Soup Kitchen — The Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter is dedicated to providing shelter and food to those in need. The overall objective of the agency is to advocate, create and operate programs and services that promote dignity and self-sufficiency. We are proud to support them through donations and the Annual Soup Kitchen Dinner Auction.

Nashua Little League — Gurneys is a proud sponsor of The Mets.

Nashua High School South Music Boosters Association (NHSSMBA) — The Nashua High School South Music Boosters Association is a U.S. tax-exempt 501c (3) nonprofit organization. We are a group of committed parents and guardians who support the NHSS Music Department and its students in a variety of ways and provide the means for all music parents to contribute and play an active role in their child’s music education.

Friends of Nashua High Athletics — The Friends of Nashua High School raises funds for capital expenditures. The inception of the group began when a small group of gentlemen recognized that the original Nashua High School had no weight room. The group formalized and fundraising activities began. They include the annual carnival and two annual golf tournaments. Through the years, the Friends have been able to raise funds to build the desired weight room at the original high school and contribute to projects such as Stello’s Stadium, the Conway Ice Arena, the purchase of large capital sports equipment, track and field repairs and more.

Hollis Town Band — The Hollis Town Band was founded in the early 1940s to provide Hollis, New Hampshire area students with an opportunity to play in a band. Initially called the Hollis Church School Band, the band gained its current name in 1965. Over the years, the band has provided area students and adults with an opportunity to grow together musically while performing a wide variety of music. Currently, the band includes 80 members from Hollis and many surrounding towns. Gurneys supports this worthy organization through donations and auction items.

Additionally, Gurney’s supports local troops of Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Nashua College Club, and the Nashua High Yearbook Association.
